The CEDILHA bar and restaurant is located on the ground floor of JANEIRO. Open to the public, the space that accommodates up to 40 people is airy and overlooks the ocean. The concept was created by Caetana Metsavaht, and the menu developed in partnership with chef Morena Leite, is inspired by the Caiçara cuisine. Healthy and cozy, with the freshest local ingredients, from the land to the sea, added with Morena's seasoning, brings a lot of Brazilian flavors to our dishes.

The name CEDILHA, comes from the word caiçara, Tupi-Guarani term that represents the people who live between the sea and the mountains of the southeast coast of Brazil. The restaurant opens at midday with cold and bowls, savory bowls, sandwiches, and delicious dishes for lunch and dinner. In addition, it works as a bar, serving snacks, sharing platters and excellent list of drinks and wine.

Our flavor is Brazilian, it is carioca, it is a classic interpretation of a healthy lifestyle that, between the ocean and the mountains, conducts Rio lifestyle. The JANEIRO Restaurant makes an ode to local and fresh cuisine, valuing small local producers and the seasonality of the ingredients. We kept our classic, creative and modern menu, and added the very Brazilian touch of chef Morena Leite.
